Funding

The Centre operates off an annual core grant from the 2001 World Championships in Athletics Legacy Fund.

The University of Alberta’s Faculty of Physical Education & Recreation provides space and facility use, joint program development, and some administrative support. Athletics Canada and Athletics Alberta provide the Centre with technical and logistical support, as well as flow-through funding for specific program initiatives.

Programs operate on a full cost-recovery model, making the Centre self-sustaining and deficit free.
