Asmund Martinsen, coach of Olympic and World Champion javelin thrower Andreas Thorkildsen, discusses the progression of his protégé from his early teenage years to his current status in our first video this week. In this discussion he talks about both training and technical mistakes and successes that they have enjoyed and how they plan on making improvements moving forward. Our second video is an exceptional motivational video from Greg Hull, a world renowned pole vault coach, on the art of coaching. Here, Coach Hull talks about coaching effectiveness, the dangers of over-coaching and the importance of coaching education.
